Flatiron hike

Yesterday morning my classmate Brianna and I took a little excursion to Boulder. We hiked in Chautauqua Park near the Flatirons.

We were bored pretty soon after we started. Plus, the weather was hot and muggy which turned into rain, mosquitos were out, Tigger was not allowed to go off leash unless she had a green tag saying she was under voice command, our stomachs were still full from a late mediterranean breakfast, and we were missing home (Brianna - Crater Lake and the beaches of Oregon, me - Yosemite and the Santa Cruz Mountains).

Nevertheless, we were happy to take a break from school.

Apparently, somebody else was really bored too.

The Flatirons. There should be five of them.

  1. Wow, tigger is so coordinated to have stacked those rocks. Perhaps we should be her some Legos to play with?

  3. What a great way to take a break from nursing school?! Glad to see you're making friends and lucky to have Tig along. She looks great! We can't wait to visit!
