Inspiration

Food Ideas
Doug and I felt like experimenting with chicken, lime, and smoke pimenton; so, I searched for a recipe onlin and here's what I found - pollo asado marinade.  In lieu of vinegar, I used more lime.  I also used freshly ground cumin seed and smoked pimenton (in place of dried pepper).

At a cafe in the Art Institute of Chicago, I had a refreshing cantaloupe agua fresca with an interesting twist-basil!

Knitting Ideas
Here is the ultimate knitting project, by Swedish designer Sandra Backlund whose exhibit we experienced at the Art Institute of Chicago.

At nina knitting store in Wicker Park, there were some knittable cowls with a moebius loop, similar to this one on ravelry.

I bought some yarn at Needle in a Haystack in South Haven, MI.  The owner was nice enough to offer to felt my first felted project.  I may take her up on that.  She also turned me on to Noni designs - hope to have a finished product posted on this blog soon!

Painting Ideas
Georgia O'Keefe's mesa renditions.  I shall learn from the master!
