At home

A couple days ago, Tigger and I decided to go for a local hike.  We parked at the Little Park Trailhead, a 10 minute drive from our house.
Here's a panoramic view of part of Grand Junction - click on the picture to enlarge it.  The brown colored geologic formation to the northwest is called the Bookcliffs, where there is desert-like hiking and mountain biking.  The snow-topped mesa to the east is called The Grand Mesa.  Powderhorn Ski Resort is located there, along with a bunch of lakes for fishing.  In the spring, you can ride and hike amongst aspen trees.

Tigger is all smiles.  She's happy to be free to roam.
